I spent some time on Amazon today, researching something for the baby. I checked around, read reviews, and picked what I thought was the best one. I checked with my sister, discussed the best options, and decided on this:

I started telling a story to one of my friends about what I bought on Amazon today. About three words into the story I realized nobody really wants to hear about what I bought, unless they've been there and done that before.
You always hear about people with kids annoying people without them--talking about every detail of their own children. I can already tell conversing with our standard group of friends is going to be tough because
these types of things are already starting to dominate our daily thoughts.
I guess that's what this blog is for--so people can tune in/out whenever they want.

ReplyDeleteJust think of it this way...If they have kids, they will be interested in rectal thermometers. If they don't have kids, they might not be interested now, but someday...they will be walking through Target, looking for a thermometer and they will think, "For some reason, I think this rectal one seems like the right choice. I have no idea why I know this, but I do."
