She's a little taller, has a little more hair, but she is still chowing down on her asparagus.
She is still eating better than we could ever imagine. There are a few things that she is starting to thumb her nose at but in general, as long as it isn't tough, isn't bland, or isn't stringy, she'll eat pretty much anything.
We went to Cracker Barrel after the air show on Saturday. Between her plate and grazing off of Mom and Dad's, she ate and enjoyed: chicken and dumplings, tomatoes, corn, fried okra, blackened catfish, fried shrimp, and cocktail sauce. I only list cocktail sauce separately because her "dipping" got out of control and the amount of sauce she ate could have been considered a side dish. Green beans were the only rejected item of the night.
Tonight was lemon marinated chicken, grilled asparagus, and an orzo salad with grilled onions, mushrooms, and tomatoes. She was a big help making the salad, helping whisk the dressing and stir everything together, though she did eat about half a dinner's worth of vegetables by "sneaking" them off the cutting board while on her step stool. Even if it does ruin her dinner, it's hard to say no to a kid when she wants to snack on grilled green onions and mushrooms.
