Today was special, getting to spend Mother's Day with my two little girls. It was a rare 80 degree sunny day in May in Seattle, so for Cora's first outing, we went to Kelsey Creek Farm in Bellevue for a picnic lunch with family.
There were cows, sheep, chickens, bunnies, etc. About half way through we started to wonder if there were any rules about bringing newborns near farm animals, but I guess we are quickly adopting the "anything goes" philosophy for our second child.
Audrey has been exposed to T-Ball at her gym and was quick to show off her power swing (when she wasn't fighting with Cousin Owen about who's turn it was).
And what else do you do in Seattle when the mercury hits 80? Run through the sprinklers, of course. A big thanks to Cousin Emma for the new swimsuit.

Audrey's Transition
Audrey is going through her own big transition from being an only child to being a big sister. Here are two videos that bookend the big change. First up is the last video we have of Audrey as an only child. We have been working on her being OK with bugs and other small creatures. Here she is, all excited about a frog we caught in the back yard. (You might want to turn down your volume before you hit play)
And second, here she is as a new big sister. She caught a cold in the meantime, but she is still super sweet to Baby Cora. Though, she did pick up a new coping mechanism. The video speaks for itself:
